UWSC to Host Young Leaders Society Luncheon

United Way of Story County (UWSC) and Young Leaders Society (YLS) invite anyone age 40 or younger with an interest in philanthropy to attend a special kickoff luncheon. The event will be held on Friday, July 15 from 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at Ames Ford Lincoln. YLS is a group of UWSC donors within that age range who significantly impact the mission of United Way. You do not need to be a current donor to attend.

The program will highlight the Wheels for Work program and how UWSC helps build self-sufficiency in Story County. Attendees will enjoy a free lunch from one of four food trucks/carts, including Battlecry, B Fabulous BBQ and Catering, Burgies, and Kona Ice.

“This is a great way for the next generation of philanthropists to network and learn about important United Way funded programs,” said Kristin Pates, campaign director for UWSC.

An RSVP is required to attend. To register for the event, call (515) 268-5142 or email unitedway@uwstory.org by July 10. Sponsors for the luncheon are Ames Ford Lincoln, Fox Engineering, Great Western Bank, Kreg Tool, and REG.
