Lina Gurtovoy of Ames has been hired as the administrative assistant for United Way of Story County (UWSC).
As administrative assistant, Gurtovoy provides administrative and secretarial support and office coordination for UWSC. Major areas of responsibilities include office administration, office operations, Board and committee support, campaign support, accounting and data entry support, community and partner agency relations and project coordination.
“We are thrilled to have Lina join the United Way team,” commented Jean Kresse, president and CEO at UWSC. “She is well organized, detail-oriented, and exemplifies the skills required for this position. She will do an exceptional job as the administrative assistant.”
Gurtovoy has worked with a variety of populations including university department heads, academic and administrative employees, and students. She has experience providing support in the areas of finances, human resources, clerical and customer service.
