We are now accepting eligibility applications for the 2025 Golf Fore Kids grants. Please complete the form below to confirm your organization’s eligibility by Thursday, October 9, 2025. Organizations that meet the criteria will be invited to continue to the next stage of the application process. Download detailed instructions and a draft application here.

September 29 – October 9, 2025 Eligibility Form open
October 9, 2025 Eligibility Form deadline (11:59 PM)
October 10, 2025 Eligibility results notification (or earlier)
October 24, 2025 Full application deadline (11:59 PM)
November 6-20, 2025 Application review by UWSC Allocations Committee and Board
November 21, 2025 Funding decision notifications
November 24 – December 4, 2025 Data collection planning with funded agencies
December 5, 2025 Grant Agreement Letters sent to agencies
December 12, 2025 Signed agreements are due back to UWSC
December 15-19, 2025 Checks mailed and 6 month report forms emailed
June 30, 2026 Final reports due (or when project completed)

- Nonprofit human service organizations/agencies serving youth in Story County.
- Organizations/agencies must have non-profit status (or have a fiscal agent who has non-profit status) and be able to provide its federal employer ID/EIN and an IRD determination letter.

- Service to low- to moderate-income populations
- Matching funds or community resources - demonstrates commitment and multiplies impact
- New or expanded programs not currently funded through UWSC or ASSET
- Capital expenditures (equipment, technology, infrastructure)
- Programs already funded by UWSC or through ASSET process
- Year-over-year operational funding or ongoing staff salaries
- Non-essential program expenses (t-shirts, prizes, etc.)
- Endowments
- Fundraising events or organizational parties
- Political campaigns, events, or lobbying activities
- Standalone travel or conference costs
- Programs with inherently religious activities (worship, prayer, proselytizing, religious instruction)
