As the Iowa State University student representative, I am honored to serve on the United Way Board of Directors and to help amplify the student voice within our local community. United Way of Story County plays a vital role in addressing critical issues such as education, health, and financial stability, and its work has a meaningful impact on individuals and families across the county.
What draws me to United Way is its commitment to collaboration and collective action. By bringing together community partners, organizations, and volunteers, United Way creates sustainable solutions that strengthen our community as a whole. This collaborative approach ensures that resources are directed where they can make the greatest difference.
I am proud to represent Iowa State students on the board and to contribute to an organization that is dedicated to improving lives and building a stronger, more sustainable Story County. Serving in this role allows me to connect campus and community efforts and support the important work being done throughout our county.
