Jaclyn Anderzhon and Allie Prusa Join UWSC’s Staff

Jaclyn Anderzhon of Story City has been hired as the finance director for United Way of Story County (UWSC). Anderzhon began at UWSC on May 4 and is replacing Mary Ann Lundy, who will retire on July 31. 
 
As finance director, Anderzhon manages financial records, budget, donations, accounting software, personnel and payroll records, office technical systems, and prepares financial reports, taxes, and analyses.
 
Prior to joining the UWSC staff, Anderzhon served as a principal clerk in the Public Works department of the City of Ames. She received her bachelor’s degree and MBA from Iowa State University. 
 
Allie Prusa of Ames has been hired as an AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteer in Service to America) to work on Grade-Level Reading. Prusa began at UWSC on April 20.
 
As AmeriCorps VISTA, Prusa will work on summer learning, school readiness and attendance awareness initiatives. She is coordinating all aspects of the summer program in Ames and Nevada. 
 
Prusa has worked at Jacquelyn’s Photography and Studio 7 Salon and has led or served many volunteer efforts, including the Promise Walk and Colleges Against Cancer. She received her bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University.
