Ballard, Nevada and Roland-Story Campaign Cabinets Announced

Many volunteers are necessary to accomplish United Way's work, and many volunteers are utilized all throughout Story County. Ballard, Nevada and Roland-Story each have a group of volunteers leading campaign efforts in each community. The cabinets assist with campaign planning, goal setting, and volunteer recruitment.

Co-chairs Mike Manock, of Ballard Community Schools, and Penny Soat, of Kreg Tool, lead the group in Ballard; co-chairs Sara Clausen, of Key Cooperative, and Renee Twedt, of Story County, lead the group in Nevada; chair Jenny Benedict, of Winfield, leads the Roland-Story group.

“I support United Way of Story County because it’s easy to do!” says Soat. “I appreciate that my time and money are used locally to impact the lives of individuals and families in the areas of education, income and health. UWSC’s focus on connecting with community partners to solve complex issues is building stronger communities for us all.”
